Of Goals and Gremlins part 1

Of Goals and Gremlins (Desire)

It is almost midyear and the question for this week is, how are you doing on your goals? Yes you read it right, one week till June and the word goals is being used. If a guess had to be ventured, a good many people like yourself have left their goals in the dust of un fulfillment, long forgotten in the yesterdays of oh say, February.

There are many reasons goals get laid aside like so many sports magazines, yet unlike those magazines, goals have a tendency to haunt you, to give you twinges of regret from time to time. So why does the ritual of setting and forgetting keep happening year after year after year?

Still here still posting.

Hi everyone, Well it has been a while since I last posted. I am in the middle of some really big changes in my life. So my time has been monopolized by achieving my goals. I will begin posting on a weekly basis this week. Safe Journeys, Scott

H1N1

Well the flu is hitting early and hard this year. No I am not talking about the national situation, I am talking about my situation. I work in a hospital and of course we see all types of patients including those with the flu. Yet it is always very annoying when you have the very [...]

What is Personal Development

I am sitting here at Borders Books drinking water and catching up on some of my reading. Of course I had to peruse the self help section to see what new and novel books may be out there. Well to my amusement there is a Personal Development for Dummies. Yep, the theory is true, there [...]

Hello world!

In reality, my reality, it all started about 15 years ago when I picked up a book from Tony Robbins, the giant on midnight infomercials. I didn’t know it then but I was dipping my little toe into the ocean known as the self help, or self improvement movement.  I was truly inspired by Robbins’ [...]
